Senior year is a waste of time. Like Newt Gingrich pointed out, it’s just a government subsidized social dating program.

Wow, there are a lot of good points looking at both sides, but I think that each person is different, so some may benefit from graduating early and some may need that extra year or two. Kinda one of the reasons we homeschool, so we don’t have to through them all in the same box with the same label. We can custom fit each kid with what they need. 🙂
i don’t know. i hate to think that we’re going to push kids to grow up faster than they already do.
Pam, I’ve seen how different each child can be in my own family. We are so fortunate to have flexibility as homeschoolers! But the public schools need to offer more choices to kids who are stagnating in the second half of high school.
Maya, we don’t want to push them, but we don’t want to hold them back either.
