Happy Birthday to your ‘baby’ This is my first year working with the exteme and profoundly handicapped children at my local middle school. While I’ve only know these four particular individuals for seven months, they have become my heart. They are a blessing to me, as their teacher, I can only imagine what a tremendous blessing they’ve become for their families.

Happy Birthday to Josh! Was he disappointed about the absence of the little red car?

I can relate to the growth of our prayer lives as our children get older. That saying “when you feel anxious, turn it into a prayer” has a much deeper meaning as we grow our children into independence or strive to make them as independent as they can be.

I hope the sun is shining in your part of Wisconsin. I haven’t seen it for days
