The Road to Self-Reliance

July 31st, 2009

A thirteen-year-old girl decides she wants to be homeschooled so that she has more time to learn about gardening, and farming in general. Her future plans include learning about heirloom seeds. Read her story in her own words. (I found it in the latest issue of Mother Earth News.)

What a great article by the 13 year old! I love Mother Earth News.

Thank you for your kind words about my political information efforts. It’s been exhausting to have this additional work that I feel I need to do. But it’s nice to feel like it might be helpful. Thank you!

I finally read The Imperfect Homeschooler. LOVED it. I’m going to write about it on my blog one of these days. :)

  • Glad you enjoyed it…..she sounds like a neat kid!

Thanks for the compliment about my book, Tori :) Hope you found it helpful!
