I'll have to see if my library has it! :) Have you read about the proposed Parental Rights Amendment? I mention it because as I read the beginning of this blog about how Homeschool parents take action rather than just complain about things I thought about how the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child) has been used as a way for other governments to take away the choice/right of parents in other countries to homeschool AND how that could easily happen here if we don't ACTIVELY do something about it. Anyway... if you don't know about this subject, I've got stuff up in my blog about it and you can read at www.parentalrights.org I hope you will. And that you might pass along the word that there's yet another battle we need to fight (because you know people and have readers I don't!). Anyway, I love your blog - STILL! and hope to be able to read more regularly. I've been so overwhelmed with staying afloat in my homeschool while I learn about the political nightmares (bills currently on the Hill). But I'm starting to flounder less. :) Looks like a really interesting book. I’ll have to see if my library has it! :)

You are right, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot about letting go and all that it entails. I think as h'school parents we have the kids for so many years in a unique way, whereas the public school kids' parents have been conditioned over the years to let go somewhat. In a sense, they've already detached themselves. Not saying it is easy for them either...I think I may need to check out this book.
