Carol, thanks for that. I have heard of Jones’ soda, but haven’t seen it in a store since we lived in IL. Thanks for the reminder!

Hi Barbara,
I’m going to look for this movie. Have you ladies heard of Jones’ soda? That’s what they sell at Food Lion in my neck of the woods. I believe it’s made with just plain sugar.
As for our family, we drink water or good ole fashioned Southern Sweet Tea (only with a fraction of the sugar as most Southerners’ tea).

Oh, wow, that’s a good price. Around here, the only Pepsi Throwback we saw was $1.49 a half-liter.

Susan, I didn’t see it at Pick & Save. Paid $3.99 for a 12-pack at Woodman’s. I consider it a treat for the kids, one they won’t get very often

“King Corn” is near the top of our Netflix queue, and I’m looking forward to it more now that I’ve read your review.

Around here, Pepsi Throwback costs a lot more than Mexican Coke. (But that might just be the difference between Woodmans and Pick&Save.) The Mexican Coke isn’t in the pop aisle at Woodmans; it’s in the Mexican/Asian aisle. We, too, seldom drink pop. But if a couple of times a year we buy two bottles, then it’s okay to buy the much-better-tasting pop made with sugar instead of HFCS.
