Hi Barbara, I don’t remember how I found your site, but I’m glad I did. You offer so much help and encouragement.
I homeschooled my son for 9 years, but put him in public/government school for high school-BIG MISTAKE. He still has some of the values and beliefs I instilled in him as a child, but has rebelled against so much. I can only hope he will return to them some day.
Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words, Alison. I’m sorry about your son. I hope he comes around as he gets older and gains wisdom. You know, even some kids who were homeschooled all the way through high school reject their parents’ values. All we can do is pray for them, keeping in mind the principle that if you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it. Hang in there!
