If I still had kids at home, I would show them this really cool article about how countries all over the world have built special animal crossings over or under highly trafficked areas so that they aren’t run over by vehicles. The photos are awesome! Very creative ideas, too.

Oh, my. I knew that many of today’s kids learn little or no history in school. But I had no idea it was this bad: a college professor says most of his students think that slavery is an American invention. Wow, just wow.
