When Life Gives You Lemons….

It’s easy to find people who have been stopped by a challenge. It’s a lot harder to find someone who overcomes a challenge, especially when they’re elderly. Here’s a lovely article about a woman who is bedridden and stuck in a nursing home, and how she has discovered that painting is enjoyable and helps her pass the time.

Happy marriages are one of God’s greatest blessings. I don’t watch television, so I had no idea who Ina Garten is. But I enjoyed this article about her nearly 50-year marriage to her husband. It’s so nice to read true stories about love, romance and commitment. 🙂

Animal Crossings, Worldwide

If I still had kids at home, I would show them this really cool article about how countries all over the world have built special animal crossings over or under highly trafficked areas so that they aren’t run over by vehicles. The photos are awesome! Very creative ideas, too.
